it looks like you'r gonna have to go aftermarket, but if you search in past threads you might find the answer and be able to install an OEM navi unit.
i resently looked at the last 70 pages in the silverado section for anything related to navigation sistems and i don't remember reading about an 2001 with it, but i might be wrong.

I did the same, however looking at the 2001-2002 dash, it has different vent controls and the radio is way smaller, the 2003 has the larger double din sized radio that would take the OEM navigation.

From this i sort of assume the 2001-2002 cant have the OEM navigation....

2003 maybe possible but cant get one of those trucks (to expensive for me at the moment)

Ive done a shed load of research on this (and changed the subject title to "2003".

I cnt fit any late INR or TNR to the 2000-2002 trucks as they dont have the type II databus in them.

However it also seems to depend on the Y91 option (LUX Amp) being installed.

That said can i fit a TNR to a 2003 truck? with out to many problems? I assume as long as a i get a TNR thats Y91 OR not as the case maybe?

I also see i need an antenna and can also fit the 6 disc changer as well with a extra harness, anyone completed all this to a 2003 before?
