2001 Tahoe 2nd Row Issue

Hey everybody,
I'm new to the forum and I'm having an issue tracking down a part, I was hoping someone here would be able to point me in the right direction or have an amazingly creative solution for me. I picked up an 01 Tahoe pretty cheap but the 60 side of the 2nd row seat doesn't lock back like it should. I was looking at the brackets and noticed that where it should lock appears to be bent outward and it allows the seat back to move past the locking part, if I had to guess, I would think that the cable came loose at some point and someone was able to strong-arm the seat down, bending the bracket out of the way in the process. The issue I'm having is the part seems to be discontinued (surprise surprise for a 20-ish year old truck), the part number I've found is 88939070 but I have been pretty unlucky tracking it down.
Any idea's for a solution that would allow the seat to lock in the upright position (alternative part numbers/drilling through it and adding a bolt/etc)?
