Default 2001 Tahoe LS Horn Issue

I'm the original owner of a 2001 Tahoe LS with the 5.3L engine.
Since the truck was new, the horns (left, right and sometimes both) have had to be replaced by the dealer several times. Once, under the extended warranty (for free), and since that time, about 4 times (sometimes the left, sometimes the right horn).
The dealer just replaces the horn(s) while I pay for it and never offers an explanation for why the horns repeatedly fail.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I have no idea, but did you try a Google search? You use the horn that much? LOL!

Thanks for responding. Yes, I did do a Google search; there is little to no info provided using the search feature. Simple things, like check the fuse (I did), etc. The Google search is how I found this forum, so at least I got that from the search.

And the answer is, NO, I don't use the horn much at all. That's the point, What's causing the repeated failures?
I'm stumped!
