Default 2001 transmission leak when cool

Greetings, I have a 1500 Suburban (5.3) with 125k. Recently i am getting a leak from about the center/side of the transmission but only when cool. It pours out about 1/4 quart before stopping. Leaves a trail of fluid behind the truck for about a block. It wont leak again until it cools back down. I am guessing it is coming from the vent. There are no shift issues or burnt fluid smell. No leaks from front or rear seals. Tows perfectly. Searches have not yielded any ideas as to why this is happening. I have had vehicles with worn transmissions but never this odd symptom. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cant say specifically for this tranny. However there were some seal made that dried out quickly, my SRT8 had this issue and found it was a Viton O ring seal around a sensor that didn't swell up until it got hot then it would stop leaking. YMMV

Thank you. There is a electrical conection about in the area it seems to be coming from. I will slide under there to see it that is the culprit.
