Hey I got my truck used and love it. Ever since I've had it though I've had this clunk clunk noise when I'm backing in my drive way. When I go over the curb kinda side ways action and get the body to shift from side to side I hear this clunk clunk. I jacked up the rear end and pulled the tire. I would say it moves about 1/8th inch or less. Both sides do it. I drained the diff and didn't see anything crazy in there (other then the G80 unit now thats kinda crazy looking) And just to make sure that the brake brackets where holding the axle shaft in I took them off and gave the axle a pull and it didn't come out thankfully. But it does seem to move in and out quite a bit more then I believe it should..


Anyone have experience working on the G80's? Or is this just the way the are made.
