Default 2001Chev Suburban can't locate lever on 2nd row bucket to fold it down

2001 Chev Suburban.........trying to fold down my 2 bucket backsets. Have removed headrests. Right rear bucket has a lever to fold it forward. And works flawlessly. Left rear bucket has no obvious release mechanism/lever.. I can pull the seat bottom up into place, but cannot locate any release to finish the task by releasing the seat to fold forward. Manual doesn't address releases. There is a recline lever which only folds it backwards or into upright position. No floor lever to move the seat up and down.

Any help is appreciated.

Try pushing the recline lever down vs pulling up - I have had a 93 & 05 Sub, both 2nd row seats had levers on the window side to fold; now mine were both bench, not bucket but I would think similar. By chance do yo still have your manual to consult??

Did you search YouTube? I see a few videos posted that might help you out.

I'll give this a try, but don't think my release will 'go forward'. Thanks

I did search Youtube but apparently not effectively because I didn't find any that applied to me? If you happened to have URLS I'd be appreciative.
Thanks!
