2002 Chevy Suburban Dies Suddenly.
I own a 3/4 ton 4WD with a 6.0 liter motor. While driving home my Suburban just suddenly quit running.Attempting to start yielded no results, then after about 20 minutes it started. It ran for about 8 minutes and then died again. This occurred again until finally it wouldn't start.I walked home from there.
When my friend stopped by he advised that we should go and try to start it.After arriving at its parking place I jumped in and it started right away.I drove home and it's still setting in the driveway.
I'm not a mechanic,so I don't know where to begin in order to diagnose this problem. Is there a diagnostic tool that I could use to determine the problem?
This forum was so helpful in repairing my rusted brake lines that I first thought about coming here for assistance.
Thank you.

I suspected this problem was a fuel issue. After a few days of searching it appears my assumption may be correct.I've read where some Sub owners have replaced as many as five fuel pumps in search of a resolution to this issue.
I hope some member here has found a proper solution and would post about it.
