When reving out 5-6 thousand rpms I hear what sounds like timing retardation. Same at low rpms in 4th gear. Sounds like a timing related sound or something chattering as if something is loose on the engine somewhere. Any thoughts?

 

thats odd when i head someone reving 5-6000 rpms i also hear and see retardation. all your engine issues might be due to this
