Default 2002 suburban brake issue

HI,
When I am almost to a complete stop there is a weird Sound (Listen below) and vibration at the pedal (combinattion of hydraulic?, mechanical?, vrrrrrrrrrrrsound.) Also when the steering is cut all the way and almost to a stop it feels unstable in the wheel. Are theses things related? Any ideas? It is not every time I stop but about 3 in 10 times. I captured the sound. Please listen. It is the LAST 2 SECONDS. Thanks,

Get out on a dirt road and jam the brakes on, if it acts the same way it's your ABS kicking in. Should not be doing it on dry pavement. ABS needs to be diagnosed for any stored codes.

couldn't open the link. a abs wheel speed sensor dropout will cause the abs pump to activate, the pedal will vibrate and go deeper to the floor. when the abs signal drops out...the abs module thinks the wheel is locking up so it dumps pressure to that caliper. this typically happens at slow speeds as the signal is weaker at slow speeds. you need to find out which abs sensor it is and change it. usually, its the sensor that is stuck in the hub and you can't remove.

2x like my '99 Yukon . Sensor breaks off or it's bolt trying to remove it, wind up doing a complete hub assy. with sensor. Old sensor parts don't like to come out but rather drop into the hub.
