My transfer case is leaking from the vent hole and covering the entire underside of the truck with tranny fluid. What would cause the fluid to leak from the vent until it is completely out? It has 206,000 miles on it and I only noticed this after hearing a "rattling" sound, presumably from the chain, coming from under the vehicle. Once I added fluid, the sound went away and I figured that was the end of it. Not so, as after driving on the highway, it happened again.
