Default 2003 Suburban Flex fuel bypass

On my 2003 Suburban the Fuel lines are leaking due to rust. Also the Flex Fuel Sensor is cracked not leaking at this time. I would never put E-85 in anything I own. I do not have any Codes at this time and the car runs fine. I am looking at replacing the fuel line with the non-flex fuel lines. I have to replace the lines anyway and this would bypass the Flex Fuel Sensor. If I get a code in the future, I would plug in one of the electronic bypass switches from the internet. Do any of you see a problem with this plan.

you can do it that way.

I would replace it with plastic fuel lines. Its the cheapest and easiest method should be ff compatible. you use unions to join from metal to plastic or plastic to plastic.
