I have a 2003 Chevy Suburban LT, 5.3 Liter, 4X4, 167K miles. When I back the truck up, I get a really bad grinding noise when I apply the brakes. I am thinking a seized caliper, but, am confused because it only happens in revers WHEN the brakes are applied. Forward, no problems. Any ideas?

 

start by looking at all the brake pads or shoes if you have rear drums
