Default 2003 Suburban side mirror issue help

replaced passenger side mirror on a 2003 suburban and now when i start the car the mirror motor moves inward and pops and clicks like it doesn’t know where it is and the turn arrow in the mirror doesn’t work. Any suggestions on what is going on?

Did you try disconnecting the battery negative terminal, then waiting 30 minutes to reconnecting it? Some of the electronic stuff on these involves practically waving a dead chicken above your head while standing on one foot.

When I replaced an under-dash actuator on our 2005, there was a leaning procedure to do for the computer to recognize it. Maybe someone here will know such secret for the mirror.

crrobinett: Welcome to the forum. Try using the manual fold-in button to see if that will resynchronize the mirrors.
