All I need help here. My 2003 Tahoe lost all pressure. I pulled vacuum and recharged the system. My rear was blowing cold, front blowing hot. I pulled the actuator from the front ac located in the center and swapped it with the back no change. The next day i lost all pressure again. Vacuumed system again filled with dye a Freon. I found the 2 back lines had die on them. Once I replace these should that fix the problem with the front ac? our do I have another issues as well? I would like to fix it all at once while I got it apart. Please all your help is much appreciated.

I don't think your front problem was due to the leaky system. Sounds like a stuck blend door.

Curious as to how you could hold a vacuum on the system if it had a couple of big leaks.

 

Hmm, I already responeded but don't see the OP? Anyway, I agree with in2pro, vacuum should hold, well basically forever, but at least 1/2 hour. I'd suggest fix all known issues with the system, then go from there.

 

thanks for that credit but 73shark owns that one... Shark had to go and switch from a Black Tahoe to a Silver one...

 

The system did not leak out fast. I watched the gauges for 30 min. or so before I started charging. The Blend door is the one in the middle correct?
Sorry for the repost. I thaught the other did not work I could not find it again.

 

Guess I'll have change the perspective.
