Default 2003 Z-71 Tahoe Trailer plug

The tahoe came with factor trailer hookup & I was told by the dealer that the 12+ in the plug is not hooked up & is under the fuse box. I looked but can't find it..it's a #10 gauge red wire. Anyone know where I can find it?
Thanks

well the reason your 12+ isn't hooked up is because your truck doesn't come with the electric trailer brake controller, You don't need the 12+ other wise. anyhow, you don't need to run any wires to your fuse block, it's already pre-wired "or it should be".. This is what you do need to do, look in the fuse block under the hood on driver's side, you will see a bunch of big fuses towards the engine side, one of them should be a dud "it's red and i think it says B+ on it" you have to take that out and install the 40amp fuse that should come with your electric brake controller harness. Let me know if you have any other questions. by the way, nice vette

not a problem dude. hey one thing on those, when i tried using the 7way- 6way adapter i had a problem with the electric brakes going on constantly when the light were put on. I had to take the adapter apart and cross 2 wires cause they wired them incorrectly. wasn't the truck cause used the plug after in 3 other trucks and worked greater after i fixed it.
