Default 2004 Chevy Suburban Auto 4WD issues

Hey, I am having issues with the front transfer case (I think that is what it is called). Anyway, when I am driving between 25 and 55 mph when I turn towd the righ I get a strange sound and feel a thump thump thump in the floor on the left side. I have checked the suspension and tires for any obvious trouble. The only thing I can think of that points me toward the transfer case is a little red light on the transmission switches on the left side of the dash. I had been using the Auto $WD in the rain the other day and went back into the truck and the red light was on. When this happened before it was a fuse that had blown. This time, the fuses are all OK. The diagnostic codes point to the drive axle or bearings in the front left wheel. Has anyone had issues like this in the past? Any suggestions?
