Default 2004 K2500 steering/hub swap to 1997

I can't seem to find any good information on this topic. I have a 1997 K2500 Suburban and I just picked up a duramax donor K2500 for another project. Basically, I'd love to swap the 2004 K2500 brakes/knuckles to my 1997 K2500 Suburban to get rid of the time consuming brake setup. I've done them enough that its not that bad, but having to pull your wheel bearing to do rotors gets old and I have a complete donor truck so if anyone has any information it would be appreciated. I'm going to start measuring everything tomorrow to see if any of it will line up. The truck is complete so I have everything. I was thinking about the rear end but I have a full floater 4.10 I already swapped in from a K3500 its got all new drum components. The full floater from the donor isn't 4.10 but its got disc brakes which I'd love to throw on as well.

Like I said, I have a complete 2004 K2500 so anything you guys have heard about let me know. I'd like to swap a bunch of stuff if possible making my truck more reliable and easier to work on.

Thanks!

You can put 4.10 gears in. I don't see the issue. here.

Back in the day we used to have a saying when it came to racing bikes and other off road stuff: "You run what you brung". Not my problem if I have a 500cc motorcycle in a desert race, and you brang a 250cc.

See-ya!, pal
