how do I replace my gold grill bowtie on my 2004 Silverado 1500 LT & where can I find one?

 

There are two clips on the back of the emblem/bowtie that you can access from the back of the grille. You may need to remove the grille to access them. Use something like a flathead screwdriver to pop the two clips and the bowtie should pop right out. You can find new ones fairly cheap on Ebay and Amazon. They can range from anywhere between $12-$40. Just make sure you get the right year because I believe the shape of the bowtie and the way it fits into the newer generation Silvys is different.
