Default 2004 Suburban 1500

Ran over some rough RR tracks and my Battery Not Charging Light came on and started flickering. Was able to make it to an Autozone as it was the closest place to check my alternator. By then the battery was almost completely dead so I went ahead and bought a new alternator and replaced it. I don’t think it was a remanufactured I think it was new I don’t know for sure. So after replacing the alternator it’s started to give me really weird issues if I revved up about above idle the volt meter would spike up to about 19 V, my service airbag light would come on, the fans from air conditioner anything I had a running with cut off until the motor idled back down and then it everything with normalize. Replaced the battery with a brand new one thinking maybe I killed it beyond use. Still have the same exact issue. I have some sort of electrical issue somewhere or maybe the new alternator is bad. Volt
meter on the alt when above idle is putting out 18v, is that normal? Help!!

Normal idle

2k rpm

Voltage from alt at 2k rpm

Default Fixed - was given a bad “new” alternator. Removed and swapped and issues went away.

Voltage with engine running is typically 13.5 to 14.5 volts. Measured on your gauge or across the battery terminals.
