2004 Suburban fuel pump issue. Need help/advice.
Hello folks. New to the forum and need some help.
My wife has a 2004 Suburban w/ 98K miles (not flex fuel) that has been giving her some issues during start up. It typically takes two or three cranks to get it started. When the fuel level gets below 1/4 tank it takes many more tries or will not start at all.
I changed the relay hoping that was the issue, but it did not correct the problem. My guess is that this is a fuel pump issue and that it probably needs to be replaced. I am a novice mechanic, but follow directions exceptionally well. I think this is something I can do on my own and save lots of $$$.
Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated.
