Default 2004 Suburban-Transmission-Erratic Shifts

4-wheel drive, 80k miles

Had transmission serviced at 75k. They said that fluid/pan looked real clean.

A lot of mountain driving, yes we have the forest fire going about 7 miles from our place.

Noticed that when going up grade, in cruise control, between 40-60mph, it starts downshifting at weird times. Once on Friday, it downshifted, immediately upshifted, and then downshifted again.

Yesterday, a coupe of times I was cruising up to stoplights with my foot off of the pedal and the light would change while I was still rolling. If I stepped on the accelerator, there would be a lag before transmission picked up. One other time it seemed to be confused and didn't know what to do.

Any ideas?

Thanks
