2004 Tahoe needs new temp door actuators...how to?
Can anyone help me?
My 2004 Tahoe has a duel electronic control and "intermittingly" it blows hot air on the drivers side while running the ac. The passenger side works fine with ac or heat.
The local dealer said I need to replace both "temp door actuators". I know I can handle the labor if someone could point me in the direction in the dash to where they are located.
My wife is pregnant and I have to repair this before summer! Thanks!

try alldatadiy
I would recommend a subscription to http://www.alldatadiy.com/
if your Google a coupon for it you can get a years sub for about $16 and its the equivalent of the factory manual.
I have the factory manuals for my 07 Tahoe but the the alldatatdyi for my wife's Dodge minivan and it has worked out very well...
the $16 gives you a years worth and you can always re-subscribe if you let it go and need it again...

I'm a bit confused on which actuator to buy. I see listings for so many different part numbers but not sure which controls what The ones I'm leaning towards are the Dorman 604-106 and 604-112 Air Door Actuators?
