Default 2004 Tahoe service 4wd

Good day all I have a 2004 Tahoe LT with a 5.3 in it.

Several months ago I started to have problems with my electronic 4WD switch. The lights started to be intermitant displaying the vehicle would be in 4 hi or 4 low (the vehicle was still clearly running in 2wd) then stop lighting up all together.

During this I started to receive a dash message of "Service 4wd". After doing some research I found that there may be a problem with faulty switches. I replaced the switch and the problem disappeared.

Saturday I finally fixed the issues with my 07 Suburban jumped in the Tahoe to run to the store and Low and behold the "service 4wd" message started to appear. Hooked up my code reader and no DTC's were found.

Yesterday my electronic switch stopped lighting up. Car runs still in 2wd

Anyone else have any issues like this and what did you do to repair the problem

Thanks

Joe
