Default 2005 chevy tahoe brake lights dont work

I have a 2005 chevy tahoe and my brake lights don't work, I checked all fuses and even changed out the brake switch. The bottom two bulbs cut on as long as my headlights are on but don't get bright when I hit the break paddle and the 3rd light doesn't cut on at all. Can someone please help!!

The brake lights are also routed thru the turn signal switch so they can work at the same time when needed. Plus, there are two brake/stop light switches depending on adjustable pedals or not. Are you sure you got the right switch? There is also a junction block, I think was still there in 2005, that is along the right rear panel area. Those are exposed especially in the rust belt states.

yeah I think I got the right brake light switch, i told the people at auto zone that i needed the one for adjustable pedals and they gave me one that looked like the one i took off... but where is the turn signal switch located? I don't know much about cars but I try, but I don't know what a junction block is or what it does. smh

You can Google the GM junction block for 2002 to 2006 and the videos can show you better than I can explain. The turn signal switch is under the steering wheel. If you have no expertise or tools or know how I would leave this all to a trained qualified tech.
