Default 2005 Suburban stuck in low range

Brake line rusted out and in order to pull it in my building I shifted the T/C to low range and used the parking brake. Fixed the rusted out line and now it does not want to shift to high range. Drove up and down the lane and put it in neutral and left it roll slowly down hill and it still would not shift. Tried reverse a little to unload torque and back to neutral and same result. Pulled back in the building and unhooked the battery as I also have an ABS light that won't go out. Reconnected battery and turned switch on and no sound like it is even getting juice to the motor. Looked in fuse box in engine compartment and find nothing marked for T/C motor. The light on the shift button for 2wd blinks for about 1 minute and quits. Any idea where the fuse would be or how to shift it manually would be appreciated.

Do you have to shift from 4 low to 4 hi before shifting to 2 hi? I dont think you can go from 4 low to 2 hi in one shift.

I have a 2000 suburban. It did the same thing, was the switch in my case.

Well it is not really 2wd but the position where it auto locks the 4wd. Never had a problem before. I am trying to find the fuse for the shift motor as I don't hear it even attempt to shift. May try jacking the front up on stands and rotate the tires while the wife pushes the button.

Did the jackstand routine and still nothing happening. It is staying locked in even with trans. in neutral all wheels off the ground. I tracked down the 30 amp fuse and it is fine. Going to trade the POS if I can.
