My key is broken in a rather annoying way. It's perfectly functional, but the keyring hole is broken. I have to keep it in my wallet because it comes off my keyring with the slightest pull. I've been trying to find a key cover for it, but all my searches only come up with key fob covers. I'd rather not have to get a new key because the last time I tried getting a new key for a GM (a 2006 Saturn Vue) I had to go to the dealer and pay an exorbitant price because the generic box store key was too short and would only turn the door lock. If any of y'all have had this issue I would love to hear how you overcame it.
