ac works ok unless it is really hot, then it shuts off intermittently for 5-10 seconds and then comes back on blowing cold. it is now 33 degrees here and the heater blows cold. If I turn the hvac "off" then i can feel hot air coming (slowly) out of the vents. I replaced a module under the dash behind the glove box some years age and the hvac has not worked right since. As I recall, connections on the module were not 1:1 with factory original.
What parts do I need to replace and or how do I troublehoot further?
