2006 Tahoe heated seats

The heated seats in mt 06 tahoe stopped working. when i press the button on the door to turn them on the light blinks on and back off quickly and nothing happens. any ideas?

the seat bottom heater element wires can burn up after years of flexing...disconnect the seat element connector and ohm check the element wires. If its open, you need a new heater element.
