Default 2007-11 Suburban 2500 leveling Kit Experience??

I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with a late-model 2500 Suburban with a leveling kit.

How well do they work? Do they create a "rough ride" condition?

Also, if anyone has pics of a rig like this, I'd love to see them!

Thanks!

I decided to just crank the torsion bars to level instead of a kit. The 2500 already rides stiff so i dont really notice a difference.

saxart: Welcome to the forum.

While I haven't ridden in a NBS 2500, I doubt you could make it ride rougher unless you put lowering springs in the rear.

Thanks for the thoughts so far...

LTL-
That's a sharp looking truck. Do you know how much "rise" you got on the front end after you tighted up the torsion bars?

Thanks Saxart. Between adjusting the Torsion bars and going from 245 to 265 tires, it lifted the front approx. 2" . As it sits now on level ground, its 38 1/2 " from the ground to the front wheel opening.

I put a Rough Country level kit on mine to lift my Sub 1500 nose up. No bad affect on ride at all.
Nice push bar too LTL. Who makes that?

I had a 3.5" Rough Country lift installed with 18" 33x12.50 tires. The tires rubbed bad so they jacked up my torsion bars which I didn't like. The truck was all over the place so I lowered them 2 full turns and got the truck realigned. The new upper control arms are hitting on a piece of the fame even on little bumps. They are telling me my only option to fix this to to put smaller tires on it and adjust the torsion bars back to stock. I had 31' tires with the stock suspension. Very agravatted.
