OIl pressure sending unit had been replaced again about 2 months ago.
160000 miles on 6 LT gas engine.
Yesterday afternoon ,after approx 40 min of driving accelerating up a hill , the guage dropped to 0,
dash readout gave low oil pressure ,
and warning bell came on .
Stopped and checked oil level , which was down a quart .
Topped it up , but no change , just a quick blip of guage to normal pressure and back to zero with audible warning after approx 10 seconds.
Any one with possible diagnosis or answers, would be appreciated , thanks in advance
