Default 2007 Remote Start or Alarm Possibly?

Hello all and thanks in advance for any help. Our 07 Tahoe has an antenna on the drivers side window that blinks a blue light from time to time. When we bought the car earlier this year we only got one factory key and faub. Im wondering if this is a remote start (which would be great if I could get a new remote!). The antenna has the word "call" on it. Ill post a few pics when the car gets home. The car is an LT (not sure what number, how do I find that out?) and has onstar and such. No bose or dvd.

Thanks again everyone!

Welcome to the forum
It would be my guess that it is some type of extender for a cellphone or some other type of other wireless communications

It is not factory. It could be alarm, remote start, cell phone etc... You need to look under the dash to find what it is attached to, it maybe labeled with a brand name and model number.

Welcome to the forum.

Can you contact the PO? It might also be an alarm system.

Might try a local installer of aftermarket alarms and remote start systems to see if they recognize.

Ill try and get under the dash tomorrow if possible. I was going to take it to an aftermarket installer but I wanted to learn about it first. I didnt want to get tricked into installing a new system if it is not necessary! Thanks guys and Ill update soon.

Ok all sorry for the delay in getting back. Im under the dash currently and viewing a nice rats nest of wires and connectors. The computer box that the window antenna plugs into say "astra 777" on it. I googled it and found it is a car alarm. I was really hoping for a remote start! Im thinking of just removing all traces of this as we will have a new remote start installed shortly and it will save them the hassle? Thoughts? Thanks guys,
