Recently 11-2018 was driving my 2007 Tahoe and the #4 exhust lifter stayed in 4 banger mode.

Pulled the intake and did the lifter smack trick and she popped back.

Now Im looking for a OBD style AFM disabler.

My retired police Tahoe was supposed to have the AFM disabled but about a month ago I installed a DIC and Im not sure if that allowed it to go into 4 cylinder mode or not.

The ECM has no parameters and none of the other normal Tahoe items work due to the Police package program.
No driving lights, Night time headlamp eye is disabled, drive door locks are disabled, cruise control is disabled. The dealer told me they could reflash the ECM but once they do I could never have it flashed back to Police. Im looking for a AFM disabler either OBD port style or a programmer that would permanently disable the AFM.
Not sure whats out there.
I've read n2pro's post but thought Id see if anyone has any other ideas.
