Default 2007 suburban differential question

Hello, a 2007 suburban with an 8.6 rear end. I have a question. I was hoping some people with the knowledge could answer posted some pictures has 140,000 mi. It's making a wine from the rear end between 40 to 60 miles an hour only while accelerating put marking compound on the gear backlash is 10 thousands. As you can see the driver side is on the inside edge and the coast side is on the outside edge spun the pinion gear with a drill and the bearing sound fine. Going to replace the bearings on the carrier since I have it out. The main question is should I replace the gears or adjust the carrier. Don't really want to pull the pinion feel like that's a lot more work with out having proper tools
