Default 2007 suburban exaust V8 to V4

I just recently put a flowmaster exhaust in my truck. It sounds great on take off and in idle. The only problem Ive got is when im cruising on the highway any where from 60 to 80 mph and the engine changes from v8 to v4 then i get a loud, deeper sound from the exhaust. It really bugs me on the highway. I did not realize it would do this when i got it put in. But my question is does anyone make an exhaust kit for tahoes or suburbans that sound great also when in V4 mode.

I would really appreciates anyones input or experience in this

Thank You
Dan

I hadn't thought of that; but yea runnin on 4cyl (which i try to maximise by coasting / light throttle) to 18 MPG combined would push less air / exhaust through it..

that's odd that it would make a pop, you would think it would be quieter with less exhaust...

I have the same thing....A nice resonace when I am accelerating but the second I take my foot off the accelerator on the hwy it drops into V4 mode and sounds like a weiner car, haha.

Its funny at first it used to bug the crap out of me now I am used to it and hardly notice it anymore. And like Michael N said, I am the only one that notices it...I asked a few friends riding with me if they noticed and and they didnt even know what I was talking about.

So my advice is to try and ignore it....or just never let off the gas, haha
