Default 2007 Suburban Rear Glass Problem

At random intervals I can be driving and out of the blue the back glass just pops open. I can get out and shut it and once i get back in the car and start driving it will open again. It dont happen all of the time but it is occurring pretty often. Any suggestions?

are you by chance accidentally pressing the button on the keyfob? I've now accidentally opened the whole rear gate getting out of the car at least 5x...

No, I am positive that the button had not been pushed. If the vehicle is in gear and motion even if the button is pushed it shouldn’t open anyway, should it?

I believe you are correct, it must be in Park.

In that case, I would look at the mechanism that holds the glass in place, maybe it has a short? I've never actually used just the glass part. maybe you can just unplug it?
