Default 2007 Suburban will not start

I have a new battery, new starter, new ignition switch, new relay....car started up just fine.....all day it started. Woke up the next day it will not start...when I turn the key the locks will lock then unlock, but not sound at all...

Any suggestions....I know the cables are tight on the starter and the battery connections are tight...I cleaned the tips on the starter and the battery cables...

I don't get it.....this is driving my crazy...any help I will be grateful.

Sounds dumb but did you check the voltage level on the battery? Sounds like there is a parasitic drain in the system somewhere. The action of trying to start the car and then the locks lock and then unlock...almost sounds like when you have a dead battery to me.

Does it click click at all like it wants to try to start?

Is it a genuine oem starter? In the past I had a vehicle that we put on a non genuine part and the "Action" of the starter didn't work right. Worked fine the first day...next day it wouldn't engage.

It but it sounds like either battery or ignition switch. It is easy to damage the battery terminals if they are over-tightened (done this one myself).

No it is not a genuine OEM Starter...I was wondering about that.....I replaced the ignition switch again and it is running. I will check in the morning to see if I have the drain again....I am starting to think I have battery drain somewhere...

Thanks for the reply
