Default 2007 tahoe 5.3 flexfuel

so i took in my truck ones again for the rough idle and a harsh shift from 1 to 2 and from 2 to 3, they said that the rough idle was because of some injectors were not open enough so they cleaned the injectors and gave me a bottle of injector cleaner. im half way my tank and still no steady idle.....but suppriseingly the harsh shift is fadeinf away somewhat...but then again the said the set the computer to factory modes and that the transmission has to learn my driving is that true? also when injectors are dirty or cloged up does it afect my upshifting .....like it loses power for a split second before the shift and that only happens occasionaly.....?

You shouldn't have a clogged up fuel injector on an 07'.......My guess is they have no clue what they are doing and giving you BS excuse.

I will have to say that I hada bit of a rough idle. I dumped some Preston injector cleaner in my tank before I took off on a 4 hour jaunt. My engine really got to running smoothly. Not sure how often an injector should need that but my guess is if one piece of anything gets into a tank of gas you run the risk so why not try the cleaner. I know they did something at the dealer on some kind of callback for flex fuel so that had to be in the fuel system somewhere. So $3 was a pretty good investment to me.

No harsh shift that I detected. Just some uneven idling. Wasn't sure since I bought it used and wasn't sure what it's previous maintanance had been.
