07 Tahoes w/FlexFuel and HOV Lanes
To you law enforcement folks out there. Is a Tahoe with a Flex Fuel engine considered a vehiclethat runs onalternitive fuel and thus legal to drive in the HOV lane with only the driver present? TIA

I'm not in law enforcement but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
It is my understanding that most Hybrid and dedicated CNG and Propane fuel vehicles qualify for HOV lane use in most states.
E85 and other bifuel vehicles generally are not allowed to use HOV/Carpool lanes with only a single occupant.

Yeah, unfortunately, what ZX said is true here in Washington state. As long as we're on the topic of E85 and stuff...anybody here know anything about getting a deduction/credit on taxes for owning a Tahoe with E85? My understanding that some E85 vehicles qualify. Why not the 'Hoe?

E85 doesn't mean #$#% in NY either. You need a NY State "clean pass" sticker to ride alone in the HOV lanes, and they only give out a certain number each year, so they are exhausted by June. The hov lane on Long Island is only for Hybrids with the clean pass sticker, OR, 2 or more people.
I guess the fact that there are NO E85 fuel locations on long island doens't help either. . . .
