I have the letter somewhere but I am pretty sure it was back to the 07 models too.

In either case, I think the throttle body and sensors are the cause, it was the only thing I changed on mine and the problem has not come back at all.
Well, my problem is back in a big way. Unhooking battery does not clear it off. And the special coverage is great....except they only go back to 2008

Since you said you have already done the throttle body, I too would suspect the Throttle Position Sensor that is part of the accelerator....its just a guess, but that has come up in the forum before...if you have not already done so, I would invest in a code reader...granted they don't diagnose the problem for you, they can help you get going in the right direction(s)

If you have a smartphone, check out the code reading applications for it. It might be cheaper than a full up code reader.

This is very much the same experience I have with Mercedes. I don't go to Indy shops anymore after I discovered a messed up oil change. 2007 Tahoe 5.3 reduced engine power-photo443.jpg
Most Indy shops don't have the tools to diagnose the problem correctly and they are just throwing parts at the problem.

lack of specialty tools, dealer information, dealer training, tech assistance.

Imagine trying to become familiar with every make and model...a daunting task.
