Default 2007 tahoe cruise control intermittent

Normal use of the cruise control is on the steering wheel, 1) turn on the system on the steering wheel, a little yellow light on the wheel indicates it is ready to set(this portion always works fine)
2) next to use the cruise you push the set button, this is where it does not always work sometimes the indicator light on the dash will light and the system will work. Other times it wil not light up or work, or if it was working a bump in the road will sometimes shut it down just like you touched the brake peta

Hopefully someone can help, Thanks, Bill

I think there is a switch on the brake pedel you can adjust to fix this. Next time it happens put your toe under the brake pedal and pull up to see if it goes away.

Default Cruise control “fixed” on my 2007 suburban

I’ve been having sporadic issues on my 186k mile Burb. Using my toe I pulled up under my brake pedal and works perfect.

Brake pedal sensor going bad. Make sure your brake lights are not sticking on.
