I have a 2007 Tahoe that both driver and passenger handles are peeling and have been for some time. Both myself and my daughter have cut our fingers on them. Dealer will fix it of course for a fee and has tried to shave the chrome down some but it still is peeling. I pushed the issue to GM today and of course got the standard answer of its out of warranty. I know that and I still have it for a reason, I believe in Chevy and love my Tahoe. Now in the last 6 months I have spent over $2000 in fixing little nuances like this, sensors that go out, etc and I am tired of it. If it was a recall then fix it, should not matter what the mileage is as its obvious this was not built to last. I explained to customer service that I know they can extend the warranty and fix this its just a matter of how loud I am and how far I push it and the girl agreed with me. So here it goes, she gave me a case # and said a supervisor will contact me within 24 hours.....why make this so difficult Chevy just stand behind your products.
