when I open my lift gate with key fob or other 2 buttons on tahoe the glass pops open also and makes it so I can't use the buttons to close unless I lift glass and slam then the buttons work

 

Welcome to the forum...
Sounds to me that you need to clean out your fob. If you are pressing any button and all things activate there is a short somewhere... Try cleaning the electronic board in the fob with 70-100% IPA and use compressed air to dry.
Also gently clean the contact pads of the rubber key pad....
the inside of the fob should be pristine, if water has gotten inside it can cause corrosion and shorting...

 

I have cleaned key fob out after reading other posts. My glass opens when you push overhead button in cab or lower lift gate button. The glass will pop open about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up.

 

Mine started with a similar issue, but my glass would pop open when the hatch was halfway up. It was frustrating, but I never fixed it. Now (a year later) it has started popping open the hatch then immediately closes. How did you fix yours?
