Hey everyone
I searched here and on google with no real good leads to what Im
asking for,
I have a 2007 Tahoe LT3 and Im looking to remove all of
the woodgrain trim pieces to wrap them in vinyl, anyone removed these trim
pieces successfully without breaking anything? Ive seen the posts for the radio removal
so im more looking for help with the air vent dash portion and door pieces.
Thanks for any help you can offer

did it today with a pick set and a small flat head just be careful and take your time i used a cloth to pry against the dash and get behind the trim to avoid damaging anything.. its all clips from there the pass side long trim peice is tough because it is conncted to the two middle vents and the small peice with the info center buttons. they are plastic rivited together. the peice around the radio is easiest to start from the top on one side and go to the other, once the top is out go downward. the driver side vent comes out easy start all the way to the left and pop the vent out, then pull the wood grain peice its rivited together so the whole vent must come out. the door trim where the window buttons are are very easy pop them upwards from the backside with a flathead and disconnect the wires from the back, repeat this for the rear doors. hope this helps

If you need a detailed procedure for removal and installation of the Upper Dash Trim Panel for a 2007-11 LTZ chevy/gm truck or suv with the deluxe interior (nav/stereo) reply to me with your email address and I will send you a Word file.
