Default 2007 Tahoe upper control arm symptoms

My 2007 Tahoe has developed a sort of road noise that sounds like warped rotors, bad wheel bearing or noisy tires. Also, under hard braking I can feel a little shift in the front. I thought the brakes were getting worn but when I pulled the front driver wheel (the one I perceived as making the offending noise) the brakes looked good and the wheel spun nice. However the upper control arm bushings were pretty obviously worn see pics. I've got new Moog units to put but I'm curious, would worn upper control arm bushings have these kinds of symptoms?

If it’s bad enough yeah your front end alignment will be affected. Hard on the bearings and steering
