Default 2007 Technical Issues

2007 LTZ

Couldn't find answers to these questions in the manual.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there a way to have the lower driving lights come on every time with the headlights without me having to hit the button?

Why, if the navigation DVD is inserted, does it continue to make noise from the navigation even if the vehicle is off. I came back to my car an hour later and still heard it making noise?

Why does the driver door turn off the radio after the key is off but the passenger door doesn't. Kinda annoying sometimes.

The old Suburban I had came with a program scan on the radio. Hit the button and it scans through all the preset stations. That was great, does the Nav radio have this feature somewhere?

Why is it when I have the Nav Radio set to day it is bright, night it is dim, and auto is still bright all the time. Shouldn't auto be dim at night?

I really love this truck, just gotta get used to it.

Oh no, not the fog lite (they are not driving lites, if you don't believe this, turn them on with just your parking/marker lites on and see how far you can see with them) issue again.

When you open the driver's door, the nav system drive spins up to get ready for use. It doesn't do it when you have left the vehicle.

The old system turned the radio off when any door was open. Not sure why they changed but it is what it is. You want the radio to shut off sometime.

Not sure about last two, maybe someone else can weigh in.

I actually slept in the back of the Tahoe one night on a road trip and the nav CD spun all night long, every once in a while you could hear it spin up. Not sure if it somehow knew I was in the car the whole time, but if it did I'm scared!!!

I've weighed my options. I think for now I plan on sleeping in my house until the "evil spirits" leave the hoe!!!
