Saw my first 2007 Z-71 yesterday but I really didn't like the gray sectionon thefront bumper. Please post if you like or dislike...

I'm with you in regards to the front portion painted silver. It bugs me.I don't own a Tahoe yet but I am currently looking. My dilema is that I like the Z71 bumper and fender flairs but I do not like all the metal trim inside and out. I asked the dealer if they couldspecial order me aZ71 but keep the interiora stock 3LT. Unfortunately this cannot be done. They said my best bet would be to purchase a standard 3LT and they could swap the rims and tires for the Z71's rather easily. Then, for a few thousand dollars extra,we could purchase the flares and front bumper, have them painted and installed.SinceI willhave to paint the front bumper anyway, I will paint the whole thing the same color. This way I can get the Z71 look without all the bling.

I like the flares, but not the 2 tone color bumper. How much would the flares cost??

Not a big fan of it either. It has such a beautiful look when it's all one color.

Haven't seen one in person yet but in the pics, it appears that the flares would require the Z71 bumpers also.

I have seen the suburban in person. The only difference is the two tone leather interior and the exterior of course what you see above. There was also no wood trim. It was all stainless look.

It might be cheaper to paint the Silver part of the Z71 bumper and then swap out the aluminum / silver dash pieces for the wood ones. There are some folks here that love the Z71 interior dash accents. Just a thought

I wish I could swap the wood for the silver look. I do like that better than the wood grain. After all it is an SUV not a MB, BMW, and such.
