Default 2008 Tahoe Z71 Rear Bumper

I backed into a tractor parked behind my garage. Here is a picture of the damage. Does anyone have any idea how much this will cost to fix? Any suggestions/ideas are highly appreciated! Thanks!2008 Tahoe Z71 Rear Bumper-bump.jpg

Default bumper

I believe the rear bumper is $435 + prep + paint + install.

kbh01: Welcome to the forum.

Probably close to $1K. Dealer can give you an estimate.

we got rear ended about a year ago and it bent some of the plastic around the hitch - dealer and some body shops were lazy and said "new bumper is the only way" = $1100 - $1300. I went to Maaco and they fixed the scratches and painted it for about $250 total. It looks good as new and there is no way I would pay for a new bumper unless the sensors or something else is broke much worse than the picture looks.
