2009 Chevy Traverse
Take a look at the new 2009 Chevy Traverse...

20" wheels, Heated & Cooled Seats, Bluetooth, Nav, and Rearview Camerastandard on LTZ. I like the Rearview Camera in the rearview mirror standard on LT2. Take a look at the interior pictures...I like the fact that the cashmere interior has black armrests and floorboard area. Would be nice to have this combo in the Tahoes to keep these areas cleaner looking longer and still maintain the classy cashmere interior.

RE: 2009 Chevy Traverse
It was between the GMC Acadia and the Tahoe when I was shopping. The Acadia is 6-cyl only and I'll guess that's what the Chevy version will mimic. However, the Acadiawas a nice ride and mpg was better than a Tahoe. Also, the Acadia came with a 6-speedtranny.
What pushed me to the Tahoe was during the test drive: (1) By the time you get the features you want out of the Acadia, the price is close to the Tahoe with same features; and(2) when I looked over my shoulder, it looked and felt like I wasinsidea minivan.

Have a couple of freinds with a GMC Arcdia and Saturn Outlook there are a piece of junk both of them, many probelms with water leaks, causing fuse box to corrode and unbelivable amount of noises and problems with power steering.
Hope they can correct these problems so when Chevy brings out there model it will be better.

I've been driving an Acadia for the past several months and have been 100% satisfied with it, no problems what-so-ever.
There have been a few minor issues with early production models but those problems have been resolved and fix's are now in place to address owners concerns.
For those that can do with just a tad smaller crossover SUV the GMT960 platform (Enclave, Outlook, Acadia and soon Traverse) offerings are extremely nice though they are not targeted at potential Tahoe buyers.

My mother has the enclave and it is a great car. The second row seating is smaller in the enclave but the third row seating is much more comfortable. She has been 100% satified with her car. She got all the bells and whistles and it was just a little cheaper then my tahoe.
