2009 Hybrid Tahoe A/C & heat blower
I have a 2009 Hybrid Tahoe that I bought 2 years ago. It had an A/C drain clog that caused water to drip into the passenger floor and at times it would squirt water on my feet while driving & using the A/C. Unclogged the drain and then the blower completely stopped so i had to replace the blower. It had so much residue from water leaking on it. While in there I replaced the resister as well. Works perfectly now EXCEPT no heat. Air blows hot on passenger side and cold on drivers side and nothing in rear. What can I do now?

It sounds like the actuator that moves the air blend door could have gone bad from the water it was exposed to. This door moves to either allow air to go across the cooling coils (AC) or heater core (heat), and allows for a mix of the two. On some vehicles, if you have independent temperature control for driver/passenger/rear, there are multiple doors involved. Typically the rear has a totally independent system, located behind a panel in the cargo area behind the back seat.
Here is a link to the FULL manuals for a 2009 Tahoe hybrid, and all the diagrams of the HVAC system are in there:

On my 1996 and 2006, the actuators are on the outside of the air handler box under the dash, and move the door(s) using a shaft or linkage. I am sure something similar is present on the 2009. The manual also has a diagnosis procedure for the HVAC that might help you pinpoint the issue.

If you need to replace any of your Blend Doors which could be a part of the problem, be sure to visit our website Blend Door USA. We make aluminum replacement parts.
