Default 2009 Suburban 2500 Oil Pressure

Just purchased this vehicle for family usage and to also be able to tow my travel trailer(7600 pounds). I bought it sight unseen from a Chevy dealership in NC, but it only had 84k as the mileage. It showed up and on the 6 mile drive to my home I got the check engine, traction control and reduced engine power notifications. I had it towed to my local mechanic and the dealership agreed to any necessary repairs. Ended up needing a new oil pump and a new timing chain/timing service. These repairs were completed and I picked up the vehicle yesterday. It seems to be running fine and I am not receiving any notifications. However, the oil pressure is topping out at 30 and is more commonly 20-25 per the gage on the dash. My understanding is that 30 is the lowest it should be, even at idle and it should normally be above 40. Is that accurate, is the operating pressure a problem and is there likely a larger issue at hand? And advisement is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The numbers are just that, numbers.
A lot depends on what grade oil is in it , AND anytime there is a concern regarding oil pressure, it should be confirmed with an actual gauge and not rely completely on the gauge in the dash. There are some GM engines that are considered normal with 15 psi at idle as normal when at operating temp.
We don't know at this time if any damage took place due to the really low oil pressure..

20-25 at idle is normal. Topping out a 30 is not. Could be a bad sender and there is a filter under the sender that can plug up. Since it's used and probably abused I would change the sensor and the filter underneath it. Lots of junk has been circulating around that engine with oil pump and timing chain issues.
Sender and it's filter are a cheap first step.
